Job Description

Windows System Administrator – Horsham (One day a week) – Digital technology – up to £50k + benefits

Key skills: Windows 10, Windows Server 2016, O365, SQL Server, Kubernetes and/or Docker

A well-established global Telecoms Software company based in Horsham are looking for a Windows Systems Administrator with a background in supporting Windows platforms. The successful candidate will assist with BAU support and assist with migrating their systems from a virtualised on-premises environment to a new Cloud service (You don’t need experience of this, but any exposure would be a bonus).

We are looking for candidates with the majority of the skills below:

·        Experience supporting Windows platform

·        O365 support

·        Networking – Firewalls/Switches and Routers

·        Docker and Kubernetes

·        Confident liaising with customers and colleagues       

·        Either have current/lapsed SC Clearance or able to be SC cleared.

 The successful candidate will be responsible for

·        Server migrations and installations

·        Ensuring any device security patching or firmware upgrades are completed.

·        Network design/support

·        Ensure the technical environments are fit for purpose including development/test and production.

·        Provide on call support as part of the 24/7 support coverage.
