Technical Support Analyst
My client are a world leading UK Software company who provide cutting edge web applications to allow companies with legacy technologies to modernise their IT systems and provide their users and customers with modern web systems. Banks, governmental institutions and large multi-national companies have all benefited from this innovative technology whilst saving many millions of $’s and £’s on new IT investment. This company have understandably done extremely well over the last few years and are continuing to increase their development and support teams.
Thijs role is offered on a remote working basis with one day every three months in their Cambridge office for team/strategy meetings. This role is paying £35k and a generous Support on-call and Bonus scheme
On a day-to-day basis, you will be using your technical support and communication skills by ensuring that the software is maintained and operational. You will also be involved in offering technical support to customers as well as internally to the support team and be part of the escalation point for all 3rd line software support issues.
You will work on a varied mixture of bug fixing, dealing with support tickets, working with customers and collaborating with colleagues in the Software / Product Development team.
- Some SQL Skills
- Some familiarity with C# and .Net applications
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience of 2nd or 3rd line / L3
- Any Application Support would be beneficial but is not essential
