Software Developer Roles - Hybrid working in Brighton offices -  Up to £60k depending on experience

My client are a well-established Software Systems company in Brighton and they are in the process of expanding their current team of .NET Software Developers to develop new applications related to a number of recent acquisitions and international projects. These applications are written using .NET, REST-based web services, message brokering (RabbitMQ) and Orleans.

They have been developing applications and tools for the entertainment distribution and retail sectors for over thirty-five years, and now have an international customer base.
  
As a .NET Software Developer you will get the opportunity to work with several cutting edge technologies using the latest software development architecture. They have recently migrated to .NET 8.0 and they have an extensive range of tools to work with such as MSDN, DevExpress and Redgate Toolbelt.
  
You will also get the chance to upskill where relevant with Azure DevOps for Git source control, deployments and release pipelines; and Elastic Stack for visualising application behaviour through structured logging, as well as indexing data for searching.
  
Essential Skills
  • At least 5 years’ experience in C#.NET (proven experience with .NET 6.0/7.0/8.0
  • At least 3 years’ experience using SQL Server
  • WPF experience would be an advantage for migration purposes (but not essential)
  • Experience working with third-party API’s
  • Used to working in an agile environment
  
You will also get training on:

  • Elastic Search (with Kibana dashboards)
