Project Manager – Software Development

A leading software house, specialising in developing cutting edge eCommerce systems are looking for an experienced Project Manager to work with a number of their development teams based in their Brighton offices. This role will suit somebody who has a background in Agile project delivery on software development projects and who enjoys working across a number of different development streams and products.

PM job responsibilities:

  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties to ensure execution of projects both on time and within scope.
  • Report and escalate to management as needed.
  • Perform risk management to minimise project risks.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with clients.
  • Ensure the good running of the team’s Agile/Kanban processes.
  • Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
  • Take a leading role in recruitment and staff performance appraisals.

    Key skills required:

  • Proven experience in as a project manager in the IT sector
  • Knowledge and awareness of Project Management principles, documents and plans
  • Solid technical background with an understanding of software development
  • Excellent client facing and communication skills
  • Stakeholder management
  • Some background in Scrum and/or Kanban
