Project Manager – Hybrid 3 days a week in Brighton – Paying up to 40k

I am seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our client's team, ensuring projects run smoothly, on time, and within budget, while acting as the main point of contact for clients. As the Project Manager, you will collaborate with a talented team of developers, delivering projects across various sectors.
  
Responsibilities
  
Delivery
  
  • Deliver complex website/portal/web app projects from brief to launch
  • Track project deliverables and match them with agreed deadlines
  • Monitor and proactively manage project risks and opportunities
  
Planning
  
  • Prioritise and manage multiple projects against deadlines
  • Manage changing and competing priorities, absorbing new information rapidly to address complex issues
  • Manage projects using an agile/waterfall approach, planning sprints, reviews, and client contact
  • Adjust schedules and targets as needed
  • Run client/internal scrum meetings
  • Schedule and coordinate development resources with the Ops Manager
  • Perform quality control throughout development to maintain the expected standards before release to clients
  
Budgeting
  
  • Monitor budgets and project progress, responding to changes in specifications
  • Track development time against projects and ensure project profitability
  • Report financial progress to the SMT
  
Reporting
  
  • Report on project outcomes to the SMT
  • Create documentation, reports, and status updates on project progress for clients
  
Account Management
  
  • Hold regular scrum meetings with clients when required
  • Build effective working relationships with the internal team and external providers at all levels, working collaboratively to achieve company objectives
  • Identify new business opportunities with the current client base to grow accounts with a focus on revenue
  • Support existing customers, ensuring they always receive the highest level of customer service
  
Other Duties
  
  • Run internal scrum meetings
  • Problem solve to ensure key project objectives are met
  • Act as the liaison between clients and internal teams
  • Motivate all team members while keeping focused on the main objectives
  • Work cohesively with the Director and Ops Manager to maintain strong communications on strategy and forecasting
  
About You
  
  • Proactive and self-motivated with a willingness to learn new skills
  • Effective communicator with strong organisational and planning skills who enjoys coordinating individuals and projects
  • Project Management qualification with a focus on Waterfall methodology for planning (PRINCE2 or PMQ preferred but not essential)
  • Methodical and thorough with a mature attitude towards work
  • Ability to prioritise and deliver in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment
  • Previous experience in the industry is preferred but not essential
  • Experience using any of the following is preferred: Kanban, Trello, Azure DevOps, Zendesk, Jira, Asana, SharePoint, Xero
  • Motivated to engage proactively with process improvements
  • Ability to think outside the box to get the job done
