Stratospherec are working with a Payment Services company based in Hampshire who are looking for a Mid to Senior level .Net Developer to join their growing team.
The main technologies they are using are C#, ASP.Net, & MVC. Experience with MS SQL Server, whilst not mandatory, will be a distinct advantage.
The primary objective of the Technology Team is to ensure the successful delivery and on-going support of the company's solutions. With an emphasis on exceptional customer service & service delivery, as a member of the Technology Team, you will have a key role in a dynamic, forward thinking organisation, where investment in training is given where necessary.
The role is suited to someone who relishes working within an office environment and, due to the potential for occasional out-of-hours & on-site support.

Duties & Responsibilities - Ensure software development lifecycle is implemented and adhered to from requirements definition to deployment & support.
- Troubleshooting technical issues, finding the root cause and designing, proposing, and implementing solutions
- Maintain design and code documentation
- Ensure adherence to service levels, both internally, with customers and by 3rd party suppliers
- Act as a one of the points of contact for technology opportunities &/or issues
- Evaluate & propose/recommend emerging technologies
Mandatory Experience - Intermediate level experience in C# using .NET Framework (4.6+ - ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET Web API and Web Forms, Windows Services)
- Experience in using .NET 6 (Razor, Razor Pages, Web API)
- Experience in working with ORMs (Entity Framework/Entity Framework Core preferred)
- Intermediate level experience using Source Control (GIT preferred)
- Intermediate level experience in using and coding SQL Server, Stored Procedures and T-SQL
- Experience in working in a collaborative commercial development environment
- Experience with configuring Windows Server and IIS
Optional Experience - Experience in working in a regulated environment (PCI, ISO 27001)
- Experience and understanding of SOLID principles and Object-Oriented design patterns
- Experience in HTML5 and CSS
- Experience in JavaScript and jQuery or similar libraries
- Experience of developing and consuming web services (SOAP and REST)
- Awareness of code security issues (OWASP)
- Experience in developing Multi-Threaded applications
- Knowledge of automated unit testing using tools such as nUnit
- Knowledge of automated testing using tools such as Cypress.io
- Knowledge of development best practices
- Knowledge of automated build tools
- Knowledge of automated deployment tools (EG Octopus Deploy)
