We are recruiting for a Junior Support Analyst to be based from my client's office in Newquay for a leading UK Insurance software company. This role in a combination of in-office and remote working and the salary is £25k to £30k per annum (depending on experience)
  
My client are a rapidly growing insurance software specialist that provides integrated policy administration, accounting and reporting software to the global insurance industry.
  
They are looking for a highly inquisitive individual with a proven record of problem solving and the ability to think laterally. You will be confident with an interest in and/or experience using technology, together with excellent communication and organisational skills to help support and further develop our innovative and complex insurance products.
  
Ideally this role requires the successful applicant to have a good understanding of SQL for this position and as the role is very immersive we will expect you to be unafraid of challenges and asking questions.
  
In time you will be expected to diagnose and evaluate software faults raised by the clients. Able to review technical specification documents and confirm they’re in line with current software functionality, assess data integrity issues and create data-fixes using SQL as well as dissecting log files to aid in your diagnosis of faults.

Preferred experience:
  
  • Some exposure to SQL (preferably ORACLE or MySQL or MS SQL Server)
  • Previous experience with dealing with Clients
  • Some exposure to IT systems development or usage
