Information Security Analyst
  
  
My client are a leading Sussex based Fintech Services client who provide software for wealth managers across the globe. Their software is used by some of the world’s largest finance organisations to run their wealth management portfolios.
  
  
This company are looking for an Information Security Analyst whose role will be responsible for delivering high quality information security oversight for applications, vendors, projects and technology change and the provision of coherent security advise and support. This a new role working for a global Fintech organisation and one where the successful candidate can affect corporate change and governance on Information security. This would be a great time to join them and take a pivotal part of their Information Security team.
  
  
This role will be based 2 days per week in their Horsham office, and offered remote for the rest of the week. Salaries up to £50k with an exceptional pension and employee benefits package
  
The Information Security Analyst role responsibilities:
  • Conduct business impact assessments on applications and service providers
  • Maintain third party application and vendor list
  • Manage the supplier assurance assessments, identifying risks and managing through to remediation.
  • Provide due diligence services for new and modified applications or software, highlighting security risks to stakeholders.
  • Assist in the implementation of information security projects and initiatives to ensure security requirements are met.
  • Support the development and maintenance of Information Security policies, standards and guidance.
  • Undertake internal reviews of company processes and procedures to ensure compliance and recommend enhancements.
  • Provide management information.
  • Work with the rest of the Information Security team in managing security requests and providing security services.
  
Additional role responsibilities:
  • Assist in raising security awareness across the group.
  • Provide support for internal and external audits.
  • Contribute to security incident management.
  • Help maintain the infosec intranet.
  
The knowledge, experience and qualifications you need:
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Sound understanding of NIST cyber security framework
  • Financial services experience is beneficial but not essential
  • Excellent communication and reporting skills
  • Good all round technical knowledge of operating systems, database platforms, web technologies, and cloud solutions.
