Job Description

Frontend Developer - 1 or 2 days a week in Eastbourne - Paying up to £45k
  
Stratospherec is recruiting for a Frontend Developer role for a leading European retail company located in East Sussex and across the UK.
  
This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing development team!
  
Key Responsibilities:
  • Code flexible and functional web pages from a design
  • Code existing email templates and develop new templates
  • Create and maintain testing processes and deliver timely testing reports for signoff before deployments
  • Work closely with the Web Development Supervisor to ensure that project time scales are realistic & adhered to
  • Ensuring that the code used across all sites meets best practices is consistent between all developers for ease of editing in future developments
  
Essential TechnicalSkills Required:
  • Demonstrable experience in coding in HTML & CSS including Bootstrap, Flex & CSS Grid
  • Working knowledge of JavaScript, including jQuery
  • Confident taking a design brief, wireframe or page mock-up &converting it into a working web design
  • Methodical approach and experience with testing code, quality assurance and producing test reports
  • Minimum 3 years working in front-end development role
