JavaScript, Golang and Python

Many companies now use Opensource technologies to power their software development and Stratospherec specialise in recruiting some of the most important development skills that are driving Software development in the 21st Century – JavaScript, Golang and Python.

JavaScript

Although JavaScript is often synonymous with front end development, in more recent times, it has been used as a server-side programming language as well as client-side. JavaScript developers are professionals who specialize in building applications using the JavaScript programming language. They are responsible for creating, implementing, and maintaining the front end or backend components of web applications. Depending on their area of focus, there are different roles within the JavaScript development field.

React A JavaScript library which originated from The team at Facebook – probably the industry leading JS framework for building interactive and reusable UI components. React follows a component-based architecture, making it efficient for building large-scale applications.
Angular A TypeScript-based framework developed by Google. Angular provides a complete solution for building complex applications, including features like data binding, dependency injection, and routing.
Vue.js Vue is a progressive JavaScript framework that is known for its simplicity and ease of integration into existing projects. Vue offers a straightforward syntax and flexible architecture, making it suitable for small to medium-sized projects.
Node.js  A JavaScript runtime built on Chrome's V8 JavaScript engine. Developers use Node.js to build server-side, scalable and high-performance applications, handle server-side logic, interact with databases, and create APIs in JavaScript.

Golang

Go (or as it is commonly known as Golang) is a project that was open sourced by Google in 2009 and is a statically typed, compiled high-level programming language. Go is syntactically similar to C programming language but also has memory safety, garbage collection, structural typing and enables high-performance networking and multiprocessing performance for applications

Over the last few years Golang has become popular with the Open Source community and it’s development-focused philosophy that makes it the choice for many developers building cloud computing systems and complex highly-transactional applications.

Python

Python is a high-level, general-purpose programming language that dates back to 1991. Its design philosophy emphasizes code readability and is dynamically typed and garbage-collected. It supports multiple programming paradigms, including structured / procedural, object-oriented and functional programming – meaning that Python can be used for many use cases by developers.

The community around Python has built many tools and frameworks to help build scaleable robust, applications in quick time. Some common frameworks in use are:

Django  Developers use it to ease the creation of complex, database-driven websites. The framework emphasizes reusability and "pluggability" of components, less code, low coupling, rapid development, and the principle of don't repeat yourself. Django also provides an optional administrative create, read, update and delete interface that is generated dynamically through introspection and configured via admin models.
Flask A micro web framework written in Python that does not require particular tools or libraries and it has no database abstraction layers. Flask supports extensions for object-relational mappers, form validation, upload handling, various open authentication technologies and several common framework related tools.

Stratospherec recruits for developers who have skills in JavaScript, Golang and Python and work with companies across a huge variety of industries to find the very best developers with these skills.
