Mid-level Product Designer for Global Company – Fully Remote with 1 day a month in the London or Brighton office – Up to 40K plus bens


Are you passionate about designing great digital products which look amazing, and which provide users with a great digital experience?  Then if you are a junior to mid-level product designer then this must be the role for you!  My client is a highly successful global company who provide services and software across the globe.  They have a new and exciting opportunity on their award winning multi-disciplinary agile team for a junior to mid-level Product Designer to work collaboratively with them on a remote basis.  One day a month you will be required to work from the company’s beautiful offices right in the heart of Brighton, or from their London office however the remainder of your work can be carried out fully remotely.  You will be working alongside developers and digital product owners who work on new greenfield website applications built on JavaScript technologies.  Moreover, in this mid-level Product Owner role, training will be provided to fill any gaps in your previous experience whilst you gain exposure to a full range of digital products.  Each day you will focus on user experience and user interface design of this company’s wide range of digital products, working in Agile Scrum teams and collaborating with Product Managers and Developers.


Key Duties


You will:

• Champion user-centred, evidence driven, optimised UX and UI design across all the company’s digital products.

• Support A/B testing on our digital products to gather insights on user behaviour.

• Take part in conducting regular user testing with the help of relevant tools and techniques

and use the feedback to enhance their digital experience. Helping providing prototypes, mock-ups

and assets needed for testing with the company’s audiences.

• Help conduct stakeholder interviews and workshops to align business and user needs as

well as develop solutions.

• Attend and support the presentation of findings on user research and user testing results

with the wider business via regular ‘show & tell’ sessions.

• Work closely with colleagues in the Engineering team, Product Management team, Data &

Insights team.

• Support the identification of optimal user experiences and create artefacts to deliver them –

personas, user journeys, wireframes, storyboards, mock-ups and prototypes, sitemaps,

content structures, etc.

• Attend Quarterly PI (Program Increment) Planning sessions with the Scrum teams and key

business stakeholders.

• Actively use and contribute to the use and development of the company's Design System and other



Essential Skills:


2+ years of experience in a Product Design role.

  •  Portfolio of digital products showing a user-led approach.
  •  Knowledge of Agile Scrum development methodology.
  • Hands-on experience with tools like Figma, InVision, Sketch etc.
  • A/B testing experience with tools like Optimizely.
  • User testing experience with tools like Maze, Lookback, Hotjar etc.
  •  Awareness of best practice in user research techniques, achieving accessibility, information architecture.
  •  Excellent verbal and written communications skills with a related degree or commercial experience
