    My client is a long established business producing managed reporting and front-end digital solutions to analyse telecoms and merchant processing billing data.


    Due to their continued growth, they are looking for a talented Developer to join their team based in Rochester. 


    Key skills required


    • ASP.NET with C# (VB preferable but not essential). Web API/Webforms
    • XML, HTML5, Bootstrap, JavaScript, jQuery, CSS, and MS SQL
    • Working with large datasets from multiple source and formats
    • Experience of cloud-based solutions and modern technology stacks essential.

    Software Developer

    Stratospherec are excited to be working with a growing boutique software development house based in Cardiff who are looking for a C# Software Developer to join their team. This role will require going into the office at least once every 3 weeks.


    This is a key role where you will be involved in key stages of the software/application development lifecycle, from interpreting requirements from the product owner to the design, build and deployment of software.

    This role will also be considered for succession to Lead Developer and will receive tailored career development and personal learning pathways.


    As an Applications Developer your main tasks will be:

    • Typical responsibilities will include analysing, coding, designing, maintenance, troubleshooting, monitoring updates and providing end user support.
    • Oversee some project management tasks whilst building new applications.
    • Postholder will work with their Team Lead and head of service to develop new software applications and update and modify existing applications.
    • Develop and maintain high quality development solutions to set requirements following established software development practices to meet customer needs.
    • Development of code within an agile environment (Scrum) and in line with Quality and processes defined within the project
    • Evaluating existing applications and performing updates and modifications.
    • Writing high-quality code to program complete applications on schedule


    Technical skills required are:

    • Experience in designing and building applications
    • ASP.Net MVC/Core
    • Entity Framework / Entity Framework Core
    • Proficient SQL skills (MS TSQL / SQLite)
    • SOLID coding practices
    • Understanding of DevOps and Agile principles (e.g. Azure DevOps)
